What Can We Do ?

From local authorities to the Secretary of State, the planning system is shaped by political pressures — as GX residents learned after the 1998 decision that preceded the 2005 tunnel collapse and months‑long closure of the Chiltern mainline.

Our Trustees have first‑hand experience instructing the country’s leading barristers to shift the balance back toward residents.

The first step is rejecting the idea that nothing can be done. We then identify viable grounds for challenge, using your donations to secure expert professional advice.

Working with the community, we gather the evidence required.

Finally, with specialist lawyers and barristers — and the protections of the Aarhus Convention — we may use your support to pursue a Judicial Review.

GXCG exists to ensure history does not repeat itself.

Every donation, however small, is important to enable us to achieve this goal.
